Bio 

Dr. Mona Alnaeemi is a seasoned mental health professional, holding the esteemed title of Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and Board Certified Practitioner in Human Services. With an extensive background, she's dedicated years to aiding individuals in overcoming the aftermath of violence and dismantling the stigma around mental health.


Her contributions go beyond direct counseling. Dr. Alnaeemi has been instrumental in crafting and supervising programmatic standards championing culturally sensitive services for those navigating distress. Her expertise spans clinical assessments, treatment planning, psychoeducation, case management, crisis intervention, and counseling across diverse individual, family, and support group settings. She's adept in various environments, working in shelters, hospitals, and nonprofit agencies.


Her academic journey showcases an impressive commitment to learning and honing her craft. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy specializing in Clinical Social Work and two Master's degrees—one in Human and Social Services and another in Management. Her pursuit of knowledge doesn't stop there; she maintains current certifications in Substance Abuse Counseling, Trauma and Abuse, and Leadership.


An advocate for advancing the field, Dr. Alnaeemi has delved into research projects on human and social services, presenting her findings at numerous community seminars, webinars, and conferences.
